Abstrakt

Celem artykułu jest zbadanie roli multilateralizmu jako jednej z głównych osi polityki zagranicznej Francji w obliczu narastającej erozji dyplomacji wielostronnej, napięć geopolitycznych oraz fragmentaryzacji porządku światowego. Z perspektywy Francji, idea współpracy wielostronnej jest nie tylko skutecznym modelem zarządzania globalnymi wyzwaniami, ale także instrumentem zachowania atrybutów mocarstwowości w przyszłym ładzie światowym. Multilateralizm nie jest traktowany jako abstrakcyjna preferencja normatywna, lecz jako ustrukturyzowane narzędzie tożsamości francuskiej polityki zagranicznej, zakorzenione w dziedzictwie gaullistowskim i wdrażane przez administrację prezydenta Emmanuela Macrona. Stało się to narzędziem dyplomatycznym budowania wpływów i legitymizacji przywódczej Francji, poprzez aktywne uczestnictwo w strukturach międzynarodowych i tworzenie wizerunku państwa zdolnego do przewodzenia w kluczowych kwestiach globalnych. Jednocześnie, multilateralizm jest wyrazem głębszej filozofii politycznej, zakładającej, że tylko w wielobiegunowym świecie Francja może zachować pozycję istotnego aktora w systemie post-hegemonicznym.
