Abstract

The article presents the analysis of asymmetry of resources among interest groups in EU equality policy and its impact on the intensity of their participation in decision-making processes. Institutional-legal and historical analyses are used in this research, complemented by qualitative and quantitative analysis of data from the Transparency Register. The findings indicate that asymmetric distribution of resources reinforces inequalities in representation, yet financial resources alone do not ensure effective participation. Organisational profile and thematic specialisation prove decisive. The results indicate the need of stronger support for smaller specialised actors and greater transparency of contacts with EU institutions.
